Scottie Scheffler Beats No.1 Ben Johns in a (FOR FUN) Pickleball Match

So… did we just get neutered?

Well, embarassed would be an understatement. Lets not soil our panties over this. We all have slip ups, we’ve all seen upsets. Although, this loss definitely deals a massive blow to the credibility of pickleball as a sport, we have to admire the fact that Scottie is literally a professional athlete. It takes a hell of a lot of coordination, brain power, and endurance to play golf and this transfers easily to pickleball. All that being said, Scheffler is known for also being a pickleball fanatic. This wasn’t just a one-off match. He has been seen playing pickleball upwards of 60 hours a week and even practicing with pros.

🥒 Ben Johns, Our Pickleball Maestro: As the reigning Pickleball Player #1, Ben Johns brought his A-game to the match. Despite the loss, he demonstrated the level of play that has earned him the top spot in the pickleball world.

What We Loved:

1. Sportsmanship in Action: Both players displayed incredible sportsmanship, highlighting the respect that transcends sports boundaries.

2. Raising Pickleball's Profile: Even in defeat, Ben Johns showcased the skill and excitement that make pickleball such a fantastic sport. It's an opportunity for our beloved game to shine in a different spotlight.

What's Next:

We WERE NOT NEUTERED! Scottie is a beast. Ben is a beast. I’d like to see them play 1 on 1 or in a more serious tournament. Scottie’s not going to be able to compete against the man.
